This Privacy Policy describes how AssetTradingDesk (“AssetTradingDesk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are a business-to-business marketplace; the information we handle is primarily business contact and transaction information. By using the Services, you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.

Information you provide:

• Account information — your first and last name, email address, phone number, and password (or a login through a supported identity provider).
• Organization information — your organization’s name and type, and facility locations including street address, city, state, and ZIP code.
• Marketplace content — equipment listings and photos, equipment requests, messages you exchange with other users, and documents you upload or sign electronically.

Information collected automatically:

• Log and device data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected by our servers and hosting provider as part of operating the site.
• Cookies and local storage — described in Section 5 below.

We do not collect payment card or bank account information through the Services, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

• to provide and operate the marketplace and your account;
• to connect buyers and sellers, including matching listings to requests and facilitating messaging and document signing;
• to send transactional email such as verification codes, invites, and notifications about your listings, requests, and opportunities;
• to attribute your visit when you arrive from an outreach link we sent, so we can connect your account to prior correspondence;
• to secure the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and verify that signups are human;
• to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Services.

• With other users. Listings and requests you publish are visible to other users and visitors. Your name, organization, and messages are shared with the counterparty you are messaging or transacting with. Documents you sign are shared with the other signing parties.
• With service providers that process data on our behalf: Auth0 (login and authentication, including Google sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting, security, human-verification challenges, and transactional email delivery), and DocuSeal (electronic document signing).
• For legal reasons — if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of AssetTradingDesk, our users, or others.
• In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage:

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in to your account.
• Attribution cookie — if you visit from a personalized link in an email we sent, we set a signed, long-lived cookie so we can associate your visit and any account you create with that correspondence.
• Security cookies — Cloudflare Turnstile sets cookies during signup to verify you are human.
• Local storage — we cache data in your browser to make pages load faster and to remember interface preferences.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the Services require the session cookie to keep you signed in.

Pages on the Services load fonts and icons from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts and Cloudflare’s cdnjs). When your browser fetches these resources, those providers receive your IP address and standard request information, subject to their own privacy policies.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the Services, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Signed documents and transaction records may be retained after account closure where we have a legitimate business or legal need to keep them.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authentication through an established identity provider, and optional two-factor authentication and passkeys on your account. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• You can view and update your account and organization information in your account settings.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@assettradingdesk.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law; some information may be retained as described in Section 7.
• Transactional emails are part of operating your account; if you close your account we will stop sending them.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. Contact us and we will honor the rights that apply to you.

The Services are for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice, such as by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date, or by emailing account holders.
